George is named after the one and only first president George Washington who frequently visited Chestertown and left a notable presence in the community, including assisting in the local college, Washington College. We expect great things from this cat!

George, and his brother Eliot, were adopted from the Animal Care Shelter of Kent County; they were owner surrendered. His birthday is on June 19, 2019. You can tell George from Eliot, as George has white around his mouth. George is very curious and loves to monkey around, too. George also loves Cat TV. He is very curious, and likes to make laps around the Colloquium looking around. He can usually be found lazing around the sofa closest to the front door, sleeping on the blanket that is laid out. He will not come up to many guests, but there are absolutely not objections to pets while he is lazing about. He usually sleeps next to his brother Eliot or Buster.
