  • No. We are similar in that we provide a safe, clean, happy, and cage-free environment for cats of all shapes and sizes. It's a place where you can curl up with a book in your hand and cat in your lap!

    The Cat Colloquium offers a unique experience for both cats and humans. Cats will be able to live free of cages and spoiled by you and our staff. They also provide an opportunity for some stress relief! Cuddling and petting cats is scientifically proven to lower your heart rate!

    The cat cafe concept began in Asia and quickly spread to the UK and now the United States. Unlike a cat cafe, we do not serve coffee, but you may bring your own coffee or snacks to our space.

  • No, the Cat Colloquium is free. We encourage folks to just drop in.

    You may make a donation of a cat toy or book if you wish. We also can be sponsored on AmazonSmile, and these contributions will assist in taking care of our cats by providing them with food, toys, litter and medical care.

  • Normally, you could just drop in. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are requesting appointments to visit so that we can make sure to follow social distancing rules and clean the space between visitors. CLICK HERE or call in advance (410.778.MEOW).

  • The answer sadly, is no. Although we would love to meet Mr. Mittens, you will not be able to bring him to visit. All of our cats will be pre-screened to ensure they get along with each other and humans. Many of them may even be siblings from a common litter and introducing a new cat to the mix could be seen as intrusive to the cat "family." By not allowing outside animals we will be sure all of our kitties are happy and healthy. We would however LOVE to see pictures and videos of your pets!

  • Ordinarily no, but during the current pandemic, we are restricting visitors to family units.

  • Yes, anyone under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult (over the age of 18).
