Rose Arnold

A rose by any other name is still adorable...

Rose was found in the garden by one of our volunteers hiding under a bed of roses. She was trapped and taken to the Animal Care Shelter of Kent County. The Cat Colloquium offered to foster her and then adopted her. Despite being a formerly feral cat, she has adapted to the life of an indoor cat very quickly, and shows a great curiosity to everyone and everything in her new home.

Rose is very playful, though sometimes she’s a little uncoordinated. She likes to play with the smaller toys, bite shoes, and play with the “grass” under the tree. Sometimes, she just plops down and falls asleep. She likes to be picked up so she can lay in your lap. Rose will sometimes venture out to the rest of the room, but she can usually be found under the rope tree, or laying under our cat wheel. She is shy to socialize with the other cats, but she is very friendly to all our guests and she’s very excited to meet you!
