One of my favorite things ever is the water faucet. I sit all day waiting for that thing to turn on. When somebody comes over, I rub against them because I'm so excited that they'll turn it on. I'm pretty clumsy and I sometimes forget that I'm on a counter. I also try to give paw to show visitors that I want more pets, which normally makes me smile. I also smell their noses if they put their face near me, which only a few people do. I’d like to think that this is the reason why they let me get away with taking the paper towels out of the roll and tossing them on the floor. The humans eat it up.

Fun Feline Fact: According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Creme Puff was the oldest cat when she died on August 6, 2005, at 34 years old and three days. She was from Austin, TX.

I love catnip, and today I rolled in a ton of catnip. The ample bits and pieces of it poked through my fur as I wriggled around. I did flips and turns, hoarding my catnip from the others. Eventually, I got tired, and laid in the sun. I squinted my eyes as the sunlight washed over me and my marmalade fur gleamed in its rays. My owner started brushing me with the blue brush. The bristles kissed my fur as I drifted to sleep. I curled up in the cat tree, snoozing away the day.

Fun Feline Fact: According to NPR, catnip activates cats’ opioid reward systems. While it produces euphoria, researchers are looking into any tangible benefits it has as well. They found that cats rolling in catnip tend to repel mosquitoes.
