I bathe in the light of day 

Absorbing its warmth 

While the others are having fun 

Here I am in the sun 

To the fountain I go forth 

Down I cool 

Water ripples in the pool 

I lie under the chair 

Blanket obscures, tail curled 

Yet here I am 

Have not leaped and twirled 

Would rather be a clam 

As I am content with this world
