Annie H. Stam was the first person on the tax records to own 215 High Street; we thought it an appropriate tribute to name our first female cat after this significant person.

Annie Stam, the kitten, was born on October 31, 2019. She came to the Cat Colloquium from a private rescue organization in Caroline County. Annie Stam is a Siamese with bright blue eyes, and she is one of our most active cats and loves to show her climbing skills. She can be seen climbing up the rope tree quite often, chasing flies around the room. When she finally stops sneaking around, she likes to hide in little nooks and crannies, often in smaller boxes, or sitting in the windowsill in the office behind a stack of books. She is very shy, but will run around the Cat Colloquium to observe from various angles, and is notorious for sneaking up on people and/or disappearing to hide somewhere. However, it is a guarantee that you will see her at dinnertime!
